**JOB SUMMARY**

Warehouse Associate (12-month contract)

Location: Delta, BC

Wage: $19/hour

Available Shift: Monday to Friday, 6 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. OR 9a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

We looking for a dedicated Warehouse Associate with the below skills and qualifications to join its operations team in Delta, BC

**PRIMARY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Coordinates activities surrounding the warehouse operations

* Unpack, inspect, sort and put stock away in appropriate locations

* Ensure pallets and shelving units are in good working conditions

* Pick customer orders for shipment and ensure accuracy by picking correct number and type of product

* Pick and pack orders in an accurate and efficient manner

* Organize stock and maintain inventories

* Perform daily inspection of forklift prior to use

* Maintain safety compliance when operating material handling equipment

* Report any unsafe work conditions that may occur

* Maintain a clean and safe working environment

* Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**

**QUALIFICATIONS**

* Minimum 1-2 years of recent manufacturing or warehouse experience considered an asset

* Minimum High School Diploma

* Material Handling Equipment - current license considered an asset (Raymond Reach and Walkie)

* Good work ethic and positive attitude

* Excellent attendance and punctuality

* Ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment

* Strong communication skills both orally and written

* Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 LBS

* SAP background considered an asset

* Intermediate knowledge of computer applications
