We're looking for a proactive, adaptable, and mission-driven Head of Operations to support our engineering, manufacturing, and business teams in bringing breakthrough technology to life. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll play a central role in ensuring smooth operations, helping drive projects forward, and establishing a scalable foundation for growth.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Strategic Operations Leadership
- Act as a primary operations partner to engineering, manufacturing and business teams, ensuring they have the resources and support to execute their objectives.
- Drive strategic decisions around facilities and infrastructure
- Source parts cost-effectively and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely ordering and delivery of parts needed for development, proactively managing parts and supply chain risks.
- Maintain project timelines and ensure milestones are met across departments, enabling clear communication of progress to the team.
Organization and Administrative Management
- Lead administrative HR functions, including onboarding, offboarding, and benefits administration, and foster a positive and high-performing team culture.
- Oversee office management needs and support staff as the organization expands.
Process Development and Optimization
- Design and implement operational processes to streamline workflows, increase efficiency, and create a scalable infrastructure that supports rapid growth.
- Continuously evaluate and improve operational systems and procedures, adapting as the team evolves.
Cross-Functional Support
- Assist with tasks as needed, including recruiting, marketing, and contributing to business research.
Desired Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in a similar role, with experience driving operational growth in a startup environment.
- Strong judgment and proven experience in a hardware-focused company, with an understanding of complex supply chains and project timelines.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to ensuring projects stay on track.
- Able to adapt quickly to evolving needs, maintaining a "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Strong writing and verbal skills for clear internal and external communication.
