POSITION OVERVIEW:
Originally founded in 1962, RMA Companies has expanded throughout California and employees some of the brightest engineers, geologists, construction inspectors, and materials testing technicians in the State. Our family culture and professional standards allow us to provide our clients with the high quality dedicated staff needed to meet the needs of some of high profile construction projects throughout California. RMA Companies is seeking a Field Supervisor to provide oversight, guidance for our Union (Operating Engineers Local 3) field staff working throughout Northern California. RMA Companies continues to grow and this role will include assisting in the recruitment of field staff (Special Inspectors, Public Works Inspectors, Field Technicians, CWI, IOR and new apprentices) that are ready to join a company that continues to meet the need of our clients building roadways, hospitals/medical facilities, schools and infrastructure that services the communities that we live in.
Lead, direct, and supervise field inspection and testing staff. Coordinate with dispatch team and project field operations to ensure staff has the necessary equipment and information to provide inspection / testing staff has been dispatched to complete. Field Supervisor must be familiar with California Building Code Special Inspections, ASTM / Caltrans Test methods, construction operations and standards. To be successful in this position Field Supervisor must be self-motivated and dedicated to continual improvement.
