Title: UX Researcher

Location: Century City, CA (Hybrid role 3days office, 2 days work from home)

Duration: 6+ months

Job Overview:

We are looking for a UX Researcher with 5+ years of experience working with web and mobile products/apps. The ideal candidate will be skilled in various research techniques and methods, capable of translating user insights into actionable recommendations that will enhance the user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Research Planning and Execution:

• Propose appropriate research techniques and methodologies to gather user insights.
• Conduct user interviews, surveys, card sorting exercises, and other research activities.
• Utilize both qualitative and quantitative methods to understand user behavior and attitudes.

1. Data Analysis and Insight Generation:

• Analyze research data to identify patterns and key findings.
• Synthesize insights into actionable recommendations that inform design and product decisions.
• Create user personas, journey maps, and other deliverables to visualize the user experience.

1. Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with UX designers to build information architecture and wireframes based on research findings.
• Present research findings clearly and effectively to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Foster a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams to ensure user-centric solutions.

1. Continuous Improvement:

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging research techniques.
• Advocate for the user experience and research-driven decision-making within the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in UX research with web and mobile products/apps.
• Research Techniques: Expertise in behavioral, attitudinal, qualitative, and quantitative research methods.
• Data Analysis: Strong ability to analyze data and translate insights into meaningful design recommendations. Ability to work with large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights to make data-driven decisions.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for sharing findings with stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Proven ability to work well with UX/UI designers and cross-functional teams.
• Empathy and Problem-Solving: High level of empathy for users and a problem-solving mindset.

Tools: Familiarity with UX research tools and data analysis software (e.g., Optimal Workshop, UserTesting, Hotjar, Excel, Google Analytics, etc.)
