Job Description: Assist crew chief in the field, operate Leica total station with data collector and a Leica P-40 scanner. Most of the work will be in the city working near busy streets and sidewalks but at times will be out in rural areas in the bay area. Practicing safety measures is absolute importance. Sometimes can be physically demanding, hiking steep hills carrying equipment, traversing through brush, climbing ladders to rooftops and working on construction sites. Proficiency at Autocad civil 3d is preferred and would allow for some time in the office drawing maps. If you don't have CAD skills don't hesitate to apply but the position may be part-time working in the field approximately 20 to 30 hours a week. You have the opportunity to work from home on non-field days if you have a computer that can run Autocad. Pay will depend on level of skills. Company health insurance pays 75%.
