We're a small team, led by serial entrepreneurs with experience at Uber, Affirm, Bungalow, and Neon. We've raised from top venture capital firms XYZ and Wave Capital.


We are seeking a curious, growth-minded thinker to help shape our vision, structures, and systems; playing a key-role as we launch new product offerings and grow our customer base. The BizOps Manager will be the right hand to the CEO in building the company's core business functions. This team will execute the strategy and operations while also prototyping the product and engineering roadmap. This position requires an execution-oriented, results-driven, individual with a demonstrated track record of success operating cross functionally and building solutions to challenging problems.


What you'll do:


  • Creatively Solve Problems: Lead the identification and development of high-impact projects to drive business growth and the delivery of Ionic's core operations
  • Fuel the Business: Own and be accountable for operating many elements of the business and driving results for our customers while continuously incubating new processes and improved solutions
  • Build the Team: Find, hire, and lead the best people to be part of the team that fosters a culture of collaboration, accountability, and ownership
  • Lead innovation: Work collaboratively and cross functionally with product and engineering to build scalable solutions and add leverage to the business based on proven solutions
  • Love the Customer: Use data to understand our customers, segment them according to various characteristics and business metrics in order to drive product adoption, plan rollouts, and sequence product builds and features.


Core competencies:


  • Proven track record: 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably within high-growth startups, investment banking and/or management consulting. Experience leading teams in a fast-paced environment is a plus
  • Project and Stakeholder Management: Proven track record of collaborating across multiple stakeholders in an organization and leading a project or program from design to execution
  • Ability to thrive in chaos: Comfortably handle high-pressure situations, taking responsibility for actions, responds well to constructive feedback, ability to focus on task at hand
  • Rockstar analytical capabilities: Advanced experience with spreadsheets, formulas, and SQL; a passion for not only building dashboards but driving adoption throughout the organization that drives results
  • Intelligent: Product knowledge, technical expertise, asks good questions, able to easily context switch
  • Ownership: Passionate about the customer, advanced problem solving, pursues answers on his / her own
