Job Description

We are seeking three experienced Lab Technicians to join our dynamic team in Lake Forest, CA. Ideal candidates will have 4-9 years of experience in a laboratory environment, preferably with a MedTech background. In this role, you will be responsible for testing surgical consoles, subsystems, and PCBs using specialized electronic test equipment such as logic analyzers and high-speed digital oscilloscopes. Additionally, you will be tasked with performing validation and verification on various products and subsystems, collaborating closely with engineers to identify, define, and analyze problems.

As part of the team, you'll need to take on unfamiliar tasks, adapt quickly to new challenges, and manage your workload effectively within tight deadlines. This is a hands-on role requiring a blend of technical expertise and organizational skills to thrive in a fast-paced, engineering-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Test surgical consoles, subsystems, and PCBs using a variety of electronic test equipment, including logic analyzers and high-speed digital oscilloscopes.
  • Conduct preliminary validation and verification of products and subsystems.
  • Identify, define, analyze, and resolve problems in collaboration with engineers.
  • Take on unfamiliar tasks and complete them efficiently within deadlines.
  • Support design engineers by operating various lab test equipment.
  • Document test procedures and results in clear and concise reports.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team, maintaining flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • 4-9 years of relevant lab experience, preferably in a MedTech or medical device setting.
  • Experience with electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, analyzers, etc.).
  • Basic computer hardware and software skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
