OVERVIEW:


Our client, a provider of Health, Dental, Vision, Medicaid, and Medicare Healthcare service plans in the state of California with 4.7 million members and $22.9 billion of annual revenues, seeks an accomplished Talent Acquisition Specialist.


IMPORTANT NOTES: REMOTE / WORK-FROM-HOME RELATED:

  • Fully remote role & will be expected to attend virtual meetings with functioning web camera.
  • Client will be considering California residents
  • Location: El Dorado Hills, CA 95670
  • Duration: 12 months assignment with possible extension
  • Work Schedule: (M-F) 8:00 AM – 05:00 PM (Pacific Time)
  • Candidate MUST have high-speed wired internet connection. Wi-Fi / Wireless connections are not allowed.
  • Candidate MUST have a reliable home-office environment.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with recruiters for preliminary candidate screenings, build pipelines, and conduct outreach. No administrative duties.
  • Utilize various channels, including social media, job boards, and professional networks, to find and engage potential candidates.
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates to create a robust talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  • Conduct initial screenings to assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit before passing them on to recruiters.
  • Work closely with hiring managers and recruitment teams to define candidate personas and understand specific job requirements.
  • Communicate the company's value proposition, culture, and opportunities to potential candidates to strengthen our employer brand.
  • Measure sourcing effectiveness through defined metrics (e.g., conversion rates from passive candidates to hires) and report on outcomes.
  • Referral Management: Follow up on employee referrals and leverage existing networks for candidate sourcing.
  • Proactively build and nurture talent pipelines.
  • Network and establish relationships with potential candidates before job requisitions are posted.
  • Participate in recruiting events and exploratory conversations.
  • Partner closely with recruiters for candidate presentation; minimal hiring manager interaction.
  • No administrative duties (e.g., scheduling handled by a coordination team).


QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred for future conversion eligibility but not mandatory for contract role.
  • Minimum 5 years, ideally with agency recruiting experience to develop "hunter" mentality.
  • Corporate recruiting experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., HigherEzy, Yellow, LinkedIn Recruiter) for building pipelines, conducting outreach, and managing campaigns.
  • ATS familiarity (currently using Oracle Recruiting Cloud) is helpful but not critical.
  • Self-starter, proactive, creative in sourcing beyond LinkedIn.
  • Skilled at leveraging multiple platforms and networks.
