Sanitation Supervisor

Position Summary

We are seeking a Sanitation Supervisor to lead and improve our clients sanitation programs, ensuring compliance with cleanliness standards and regulations. This role focuses on managing Clean-in-Place (CIP) systems, optimizing cleaning procedures, and training staff to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Stay informed on sanitation and hygiene regulations.
• Oversee and improve sanitation schedules, procedures, and CIP programs.
• Validate and troubleshoot sanitation processes to ensure effectiveness.
• Ensure cleaning procedures are followed and address any issues.
• Maintain and update Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs).
• Manage cleaning of plant equipment and maintain accurate records.
• Train staff on SSOPs and updates to ensure safe and efficient processes.
• Collaborate with maintenance on equipment design for improved hygiene.
• Work with chemical and pest control suppliers to meet compliance standards.
• Participate in investigations to address sanitation-related concerns.

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
• 2–3 years of experience in sanitation or quality roles in food production.
• Knowledge of food safety systems and automated CIP systems.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel.

Preferred:

• 2–5 years of related experience or a combination of education and training.

• Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively.
• Knowledge of safety standards and best practices.
