About the Employer

The Chawanakee Unified School District is within a 30-minute drive of Fresno, Madera, and Merced. We are located in Eastern Madera County, extending from the floor of the San Joaquin Valley to the crest of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, including a significant amount of territory in the Sierra National Forest. The district encompasses the communities of North Fork, O'Neals, Tesoro Viejo, and Millerton Preserve. Spectacular recreational areas of Bass Lake and Yosemite National Park surround North Fork while the San Joaquin River borders Tesoro Viejo and Millerton Preserve on the eastern side. The district is close to Badger Pass and China Peak ski slopes, and we are just minutes from Millerton Lake State Park. The district is also surrounded by a multitude of High Sierra lakes and resorts.

Job Summary

Performs custodial duties, basic maintenance and grounds clean up at and around school site buildings. Plays a key role in ensuring safe and clean facilities for students, staff, and guests. Performs other duties as assigned under supervision of DMOT and site principal. We are looking for an energetic, highly motivated, self-disciplined team player.
