A little about this position:
  • The Rooms Division Manager oversees and manages the day-to-day operations of the hotel, which encompasses the Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Property Management.
  • Assuming the responsibilities of the General Manager when the GM is unavailable.
  • This role holds accountability for achieving financial targets, ensuring employee satisfaction and performance, and maintaining high guest service standards.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field, preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel/resort management, with at least three (3) years in a leadership role within the rooms division.
  • Strong knowledge of front office, housekeeping, and reservations operations.
  • California Association of Community Managers (CACM) Certifications, preferred.
  • Proficient Spanish speaking is strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record in the hospitality industry and direct guest service organizations.
  • Strong working knowledge of business software with emphasis on MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visual One.
  • Professional demeanor, attitude, and appearance.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Flexible with work schedules, working on weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with guests, employees, and management.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and with deadlines.
  • Ability to solve problems using good judgment and doing what is best for the customer, while adhering to hotel policy.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership skills.


Pay: $85,489.17 - $90,916.88 per year
