Associate Vice President, Project Management

Insurity is seeking an experienced leader to join us as an Associate Vice President, Project Management. As a strategic leader in the Enterprise Project Management Organization (EPMO), you will oversee a team of project managers and delivery professionals, ensuring that projects are executed on time, within budget, and aligned with customer expectations. You will help evolve our project governance framework, enhance cross-functional collaboration, and deliver measurable business impact.

What Our Associate Vice President, Project Management Will Do
  • Lead and mentor project managers and department leaders across multiple complex initiatives
  • Define and communicate Enterprise Project Management Organization (EPMO) goals, strategy, KPIs, and financial performance
  • Drive strategic direction and implementation for the Enterprise Project Management Organization (EPMO)
  • Oversee planning, execution, reporting, and resource management for concurrent projects
  • Guide performance management, talent development, and workforce planning
  • Foster a culture aligned with company strategy, values, and guiding principles
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with internal and external partners
  • Lead business process improvements and change management initiatives
  • Provide strategic input to executive leadership and support execution
Who Were Looking For
  • Understanding of the property and casualty insurance industry
  • Experience with insurance software products, services, capabilities, and customers
  • 10+ years in a leadership role while managing multiple team members
  • 15+ years in customer-facing roles
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to oversee and support multiple projects and people in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative and strategic thinker with a passion for driving innovation
  • Team player with an upbeat and positive attitude
  • Strong project management focus
  • Strong organizational and communication/presentation skills
  • Highly skilled at coaching and growing teams
  • Proven track record of execution and delivery

We have five Core Values at Insurity; one is Act with Integrity. Providing pay transparency helps you make informed decisions. Salary range for this role is $140,000 - $220,000, commensurate with experience. Languages for Qubec candidates: French is required for positions permanently located in Quebec; English is required for this position to communicate with clients, partners, and colleagues outside Quebec. French-language training will be offered to candidates who do not have good knowledge of French.
