Job Title: Public Areas Attendant

Location: Mammoth Lakes, CA
Pay Rate: $23 per hour
Reports To: Director of Housekeeping

Position Summary:

The Public Areas Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards throughout all public and employee areas of the hotel. This includes lobbies, restrooms, hallways, meeting spaces, and back-of-house areas. The ideal candidate takes pride in ensuring guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean, sanitize, and maintain all assigned public areas according to hotel standards.
• Ensure restrooms, hallways, and common spaces are stocked and spotless at all times.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of employee areas including break rooms, locker rooms, and service corridors.
• Respond promptly to guest requests or housekeeping calls.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and lost and found items to management.
• Replenish supplies and maintain cleaning equipment in good working order.
• Follow safety procedures and proper use of cleaning chemicals.

• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with attention to detail.
• Friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with guests and staff.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs throughout the shift.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
