Vendor Operations Lead Location: Fully remote (U.S.) Competitive Rate: $85-100/hr (W2) Schedule: MondayFriday, 40 hours/week Duration: 6-month contract (probable extension/conversion) Target Start Date: January Benefits: Medical, dental, vision PTO/sick leave, 401(K) Job Overview: The Sales Operations Core Solutions team is a global division within the Global Sales organization, responsible for enabling rapid business scaling across retail and commercial channels. Focused specifically on Sales and partnerships, we cover all hardware and software products. We are seeking a skilled Vendor Operations Lead to join our dynamic team to help us develop and advance our scaled operations capabilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing vendor relationships, optimizing operational processes, and ensuring the efficient delivery ofproducts and services to our organization. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our vendor operations, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of our organization. If you are a detail-oriented professional with a strategic mindset and excellent relationship-building skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity Day-to-Day: Manage a team of vendor CWs and other CWs to ensure business continuity for all the applications supported by Core solutions. Work with various cross-functional teams to onboard and expand new projects into the support function. Measure and improve the productivity of the team and optimize for efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, serving as the primary point of contact for our team on the overall relationship. Monitor vendor performance and conduct regular evaluations to ensure compliance with contractual obligations. Set up and monitor vendor tracking and measurement of all vendor activities. Develop and implement strategies to expand and integrate new processes into the scaled operations model across the Sales organization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and establish an effective scaled operations model. Prepare for and establish new support requirements between our company and the vendor as required, ensuring effective enablement and performance is in place at the right time. Work with Vendor to identify & implement opportunities for continuous operational efficiency improvements and opportunities to reduce tasks through advances in processes and automation. Provide regular cadence of updates to leadership on vendor performance, capacity, program changes, application health and continuous improvements efforts. . As the scaled operations lead, work with adjacent teams to identify and support the establishment of additional scaled operations capability for RL Sales. Combine strategic thinking with practical knowledge of vendor-led activities to optimize operational efficiency, troubleshoot challenges, evaluate performance, and maintain exceptional quality standards. Negotiate contracts and secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules Implement and manage vendor selection processes to ensure partnerships with high-quality suppliers Qualifications: Bachelors degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field Proven experience in vendor management or a similar role Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office and vendor management software Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously Must Have Skills: Experience managing a portfolio of application support Working with different vendors to bring operational efficiency Experience driving strategy for the support organization, bringing innovation and continuous improvements to the support organization.
