We are supporting a national law firm client with a search for an experienced Labor and Employment Attorney to join their team on a remote contract basis. This role requires someone who is confident advising clients, drafting and updating policies and agreements, and handling research with minimal direction. Candidates must be both located and licensed in Washington. CA experience is a plus and may increase weekly hours. Responsibilities: Provide advice and counseling on labor and employment matters Conduct research for client requests and prepare written responses Draft and update employment agreements, handbooks, and policies Work independently with minimal oversight Communicate directly with clients as needed Requirements: Licensed and located in Washington 7+ years of labor and employment experience Strong advisory and counseling background Experience drafting and updating L&E policies and agreements Excellent research and analysis skills Writing sample required (memo or similar showing legal analysis; no pleadings) Role Details: Pay Rate: $90-$100/hour, depending on experience Duration: 6-month assignment with potential extension or conversion Hours: 20-25 hrs/week for WA-only experience Up to 35-40 hrs/week if the candidate also has CA experience Location: Fully remote (candidates must be licensed and located in Washington) Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
