The EVS/ Laundry Per Diem will be required to work in the Environmental Services and Laundry departments as needed. The EVS/ Laundry Per Diem will be responsible for the specific tasks and duties assigned to them while in each department. Duties will include, but are not limited to maintaining the cleanliness of the hospital when assigned to Environmental Services; maintaining a sufficient supply of hygienically clean linen when assigned to Laundry. Job Relationships:Directly responsible to the Environmental Services Manager. Works closely with and will take direction from Environmental Services Manager and Assistant Manager. Works closely with hospital district leadership and departments as well as internal and external customers. Occupational Hazards:Works in the general hospital setting. May be exposed to blood, body fluids, or tissues as well as patients in varying stages of infectious states.
