Sr. Business Analyst, Capital One Shopping (Remote-Eligible)

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will apply strategic and analytical skills to key business challenges, work closely with cross?functional teams, and influence product, marketing, credit risk, and operational initiatives.

General Responsibilities

• Identify business challenges and opportunities and recommend strategic or tactical solutions.
• Model and analyze data to support new product and pricing strategies for lending products.
• Provide analytics support for direct?to?consumer marketing and product?channel initiatives.
• Develop risk models and insights to improve credit performance, linking future consumer credit trends to historical behavior.
• Own end?to?end problem framing, hypothesis testing, solution development, feasibility assessment, implementation leadership, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with IT, Sales, Operations, Finance, and other stakeholders to improve quality, volume, service, and profitability.
• Apply a strong analytical framework and quantitative orientation to decision making.
• Demonstrate sound business judgment, leadership, and integrity while driving results in a fast?paced environment.
• Communicate clearly in both written and oral formats, influencing stakeholders through negotiation and data storytelling.
• Track progress and deliver measurable outcomes in uncertain and dynamic settings.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering).
• At least 1 year of experience in analysis.
• At least 1 year of experience with SQL querying.

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters degree in Business or quantitative field.
• Experience in statistical model building, market research, and business analysis.
• SQL expertise (2+ years).
• Experience in consulting.

Remote (any location) salary range: $99,100 $113,100 (full?time).
