This position is fully remote within Czech Republic with company car included.
The Position
The role of Genetic Science Sales Specialist is to drive Sales for Capillary Electrophoresis, Real-time PCR and digital PCR. Focus on consumables and instruments.
The role holder will use their knowledge of the business and external context to give to and deliver profitable initiatives that build sales.
The role holder will implement sales strategy and tactics for related product lines and applications to achieve sales figures.
Key responsibilities include, but are not exclusively:
Working in compliance with legislation
Achieve the agreed sales target
Increase the install base of Thermo Fisher Scientific Instrumentation within the sales territory (Capillary Electrophoresis, Real-Time PCR and dPCR)
Work together with local sales colleagues and sales managers to ensure all possible actions are done in order to secure business
Drive business expansion in collaboration with Support, Sales and Market Development
Build up reference sites
Set up and undertake sophisticated negotiations. Review efficiency or negotiation strategy on a continual basis. Benchmark owns sales techniques against guideline. Coach and ensure transfer of knowledge, experience and best sales practice
Sales Forecasting
Anticipate pipeline changes and have plans in place to address shortfalls
See trends and coordinate sales activities with sales manager accordingly
Requirements:
Academic degree (MSc) or equivalent experience in Life Science
Sound knowledge of the sequencing technologies Real-Time PCR, dPCR and methods
Ideally first meaningful experiences in sales and account management
Strong interpersonal and relationship development skills
Strong negotiation and presentation skills. Ability to establish short & long-term business objectives
Fluent in Czech/Slovak and English
