About the Opportunity

Were looking for a dynamic Administration & HR Coordinator to be the central HR support in a large resort operation of more than 400 employees, to ensure our team feel valued and supported in their journey end-to-end.

As our Admin & HR Coordinator, youll be the go-to person for all things people. Youll play a vital role to champion a positive employee experience and a safe workplace environment. This is a hands?on role where youll work closely with department managers and team members to keep everything running smoothly. Reporting to Senior Admin Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain accurate employee records, processes and oversee the weekly payroll
  • Coordinate and contribute to employee benefits and recognition initiatives that promote wellbeing and a positive workplace culture
  • Facilitate and deliver employee induction training and support onboarding activities (i.e., uniform, name badge and ID)
  • Coordinate employee training initiatives, work experience and industry school based programmes
  • Contribute to WHS committee meetings, support incident, WorkCover & medical reporting
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide support and service
  • Maintain confidential and sensitive information


What youll need to be successful
  • Previous experience in a Human Resources administration environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HR practices, workplace awards/agreements and WHS
  • Proficient skill in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, OneNote and Outlook
  • A proactive problem solver with effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information
  • Ability to work well in a large fast?paced and professional team environment
  • Professional personal presentation
