Job Title: Production Assistant

Job Summary: This position is an entry-level position into the mortgage industry. Training is provided, and many candidates train into other higher level departments and positions within 12-15 months (loan processor, closing, loan officer assistant, operations). Others enjoy this role and choose to stay in this position long term. Full-time, nonexempt, Mon-Fri, reports to Production Assistant Team Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Request approval to order appraisal
• Order appraisal
• Notify parties of appraisal due date
• Order transcripts
• Request title work
• Request EOI
• Request HOA and condo docs, and submit to condo department for approval
• Organize file for loan processor
• Acquire verifications of employment
• Support loan processing team

• At least 2 years office experience
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat, and generally tech savvy
• Demonstrated ability for extreme attention to detail and critical thinking
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Detail oriented, organized, and able to prioritize, multi-task, manage time, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, friendly, courteous, positive, collaborative, and client-centric spirit that embraces diversity and inclusion
• Experience that is helpful but not required: data entry/scanning, accounting/bookkeeping, mortgage (disclosure, funding, closing, processing, post closing, shipping), real estate (contract to close)
