Support for the RPM-RP project emphasizes advanced statistical methods, SQL queries, and proficiency in Python and nuclear physics background for fast learning of RPM and NII sensors to analyze systems performance.
Involved in CWMD support on ERNIE and ARMOR
support the development of tools and provide analytic services using AI/ML methods and implementation.
support integration of databases relevant for health, threat, and operation analysis.
Continuously upgrade their knowledge in the pertinent subfield of sensors physics, data science and AI/ML
Work together with CWMD contractors to secure smooth transition of CWMD products to be deployed, operated and maintained in CBP environment
Qualifications:
Level II: BS or MSc degree, having a three to five years of work experience after college
Able to work without close supervision, having demonstrated ability to maintain complex software and work with large databases
Expertise in nuclear sensors, nuclear spectroscopy, analysis of nuclear/ radiological data and operational data related to RPMs and NII sensors
From physics, physical sciences, or statistics background with 5 years of practice and demonstrated tool(s) creation for senior position
Proficiency in Python and nuclear physics background
Knowledge of the DAC-TER database as well as the ARDIS system and be current on all newly developed systems and methodologies
All personnel must remain current on CBP required training and obey regulations reinforced by these trainings
Experience/knowledge using Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint, Dimensions, .Net, MS SQL, and MS Visual Studio
Learn their tasks quickly and shall be well-informed in recent developments and trends in their field of expertise (in particular IT, security, nuclear technology and radiological/nuclear threats)
Experience with MS tools (e.g., Excel, Project, Visio, and Access) is required
Knowledge of RPM and NII functionality, as well as advanced programming capacity in Java and/or Python, writing complex SQL queries (C++, ADO.NET is plus)
Familiar with AI/ML methods and implementation
