Job Details

This is a remote long-term 1-year contract position for our client.

Requirements:

• Databricks experience is essential. We are seeking a leader passionate about Databricks who can work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop ETL processes to transform raw data, flat files, and Excel spreadsheets into SQL databases.
2. Understand data marts and data lakes, with experience in migrating legacy systems to these architectures.
3. Utilize additional cloud technologies, such as Azure SQL Server, understanding cloud service concepts.
4. Demonstrate an aptitude for learning new technologies, conducting ongoing research, analysis, and process improvements.
5. Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with team members, including customers, end users, and management.
6. Manage multiple projects, responsibilities, and priorities efficiently.

Experience Needed:

• Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks such as Python, SQL, PLSQL, and VB.
• Experience with database platforms like Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL.
• Knowledge of big data concepts and technologies, including Synapse and Databricks.
